Last Sunday, a group of DCA-ers gathered to answer one important question: 🤾♂️Do elite dodgeball skills translate into artistic genius?👩🎨 (Spoiler: no… well, sometimes very abstractly 😅) We kicked things off with sculpture 🗿challenges worthy of a modern art museum 🖼️: – Making the DCA logo without looking, and without cheating (Looking at you Cesco 👀) – Capturing a dodgeballer mid-throw (occasionally with limbs falling off)🩼 – Designing the Dodgeball Olympics Cup (in preparation for the day we get dodgeball into the olympics 🙏) Then came the real masterpiece: collaborative chaos. With canvases in play, we had 4 minutes per canvas per material before everything had to be passed on. 🎨🥅Brushes, styles and sanity rotating rapidly, resulting in bold mixed-media collages that display how much trust we have in each other 🎭 Of course, teamwork was tested — especially when certain artists (cough Kiara cough) decided to raise the difficulty level to "expert mode" 😈🎨. But hey, as every artist knows: the creative process matters more than the end result… right? Please feel free to judge our artwork (especially those made by Cesco 😂). But, do know, the final pieces do not display how much fun it was to make 😊 10/10 would exhibit again.
